The brothers of the Sigma Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to service by supporting the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign through bell ringing in the El Paso community. Led by Bro. Curtis Smith, the brothers volunteered their time to help raise funds that directly support families in need during the holiday season.
Clad in their purple and gold, Sigma Tau brothers greeted shoppers with warm smiles, friendly conversation, and the unmistakable sound of the Salvation Army bell, an enduring symbol of hope and generosity.
Funds raised through the Red Kettle Campaign help provide critical resources such as food assistance, shelter, and holiday support for vulnerable individuals and families throughout the region. By answering the call to ring the bell, the Sigma Tau Chapter helped ensure that the spirit of giving reached far beyond the sidewalk, touching lives across El Paso.
This act of service also served as a reminder that impactful change often begins with simple, consistent acts of kindness. Whether through mentoring youth, supporting education, or partnering with trusted community organizations like the Salvation Army, the brothers of Sigma Tau continue to lead by example.
As the holiday season approaches, the Sigma Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. remains steadfast in its mission to serve, uplift, and inspire, ringing not only a bell, but hope for those in need.
