The Sigma Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to announce its annual High School Essay Contest. The Contest is open to all college-bound, high school seniors who submit an essay application through the Sigma Tau Chapter.
The essay must be original and neither previously published nor secured by copyright. The essay must be between 700 and 750 words in length. The type-written, double-spaced, Arial 12 font essay may be submitted via the application.
The deadline for submission is October 31, 2025
The annual High School Essay contest reflects the fraternity’s historical emphasis on education and leadership development within the community. This program reflects the fraternity’s commitment to scholarship, community uplift, and youth development.

Students must submit an application and a signed parent and media release within the application.
